A christian protest was ended in tears for some families in Cairo in Egypt on the 10th of October. This was a violent protest and the army was called in to try and help but they only made it worse by actually trying to run over people and it is said that out of the 25 that died 17 of them died due to gun shot wounds. The Egyptian Generals have denied these accusations by saying that the armed forces would never and have never opened fire on the people. They also said that the vehicles where not trying to run people over but that hey were just trying to get around the people but in the footage that has been shown it is clear that they tried to run people over and succeeded in doing so on a few with 300 people left injured.
In Egypt the Christians make up a mere 10% of of Egypt’s 85 million population and it is unknown of how many of the 25 killed we Christians.
The military council have been left in charge whilst an election is organised.
